The War On Obama: Make Up Your Minds, Republicans!

In spite of the recent events progressing in the United States foreign policy, I’ve noticed peculiar yet familiar behavior with the Republican party.
With Obama’s recent campaign to convince Congress and the American people that action in Syria is absolutely necessary, I’m seeing a major backpedal in the Republican Party’s opinions on how Obama responds to the atrocities happening in Syria.

Initially, with news of the chemical assaults on Syrian citizens, Obama’s inaction seemed to dumbfound many people, primarily the Republican Party. Responses from many politicians from the Republican Party included ridicule of the President for not being consistent with the UN and the US’s emphasis on the “Red Line”. His inaction was used as more dirt to throw on him by the Republican party.

Today, as we all should know by now, Obama seeks the OPPOSITE of inaction: In an address to the nation about Syria and the Red Line, he began his mission to convince not only Congress, who would approve military action in Syria with a 2/3 vote, but the American people, that action is better and less “costly” than inaction. He says that “now is the time to take action in Syria”. The Republican parties response? “Any action in the already volatile country would only make the situation worse. Considering many of the rebels have connections with Al Qaeda-linked groups, the alternative is no better.” — Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn.
Instead of giving kudos to Obama over his decision to take action in Syria, his active position is being used as more dirt to throw on him by the Republican party.

Now, let me just say that I am goddamn SICK AND TIRED of the hypocrisy of the Republican Party. Not just towards what’s happening with Syria, but with everything. One of the biggest complaints I hear from Republicans and Conservatives is that “Obama is completely inconsistent with his decisions on domestic and foreign policy.”
Oh, really? My biggest complaint about the Republican Party is that they’re completely inconsistent with their RESPONSES to his decisions on DP and FP.

My point is that the Republican party will do anything to get “dirt” on Obama. They complain about him being inconsistent when they prove to be inconsistent when decisions are made differently than they originally intend them to be made.

1. Obama isn’t doing anything about Syria

Republicans: WHY ISN’T OBAMA DOING ANYTHING?! UGH I HATE OUR LIBERTARD SHIT PRESIDENT

2. Obama proposes doing something about Syria

Republicans: WHAT WE CANT HAVE ANOTHER WAR, THIS IS BULLSHIT,OUR LIBERTARD PRES IS A WAR CRIMINAL NNFIOOFDFSONIDF

In no way do I support Obama’s advocation for action in Syria. But for fucks sake you hypocritical right-winging assholes, get your facts straight, knock off the double standards, and come up with a consistent standard to ridicule President Obama on.

Fellow Bloggers: I pose to you questions on Obama’s decisions and response to Syria, and more:

1. Is military action in Syria necessary?

2. Are we ready for another war?

3. Does the United States need to stop being the UN’s “police”? If not, who else do you believe has responsibility in stepping up to the plate?

4.  Why are chemical weapons evil or unethical?
